One of the world's most remote valleys, Hunza Valley is situated north of the Karakoram Highway. One of the oldest and most traditional Muslim groups in the world, the Hunza people, live there. The Hunza Valley, where K2, the second-highest mountain in the world, is well-known for its breathtaking alpine landscape.

1. Karimabad Town

Karimabad is a town in Hunza Valley and Karimabad is well-known for its history since it was once home to members of the Royal family. Because of the stones that make up the buildings and streets, Karimabad has an antique appearance. In addition, the Queen Victoria Monument is a well-known landmark in Karimabad.  In fact, the Ulter Nala glaciers are located in Karimabad. 

2. Altit Fort

In Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan province's Hunza Valley, there is an ancient fort called Altit Fort. One of the first defensive constructions in the area, the fort was constructed in the 11th century. It was the seat of the local ruler, the Mir of Hunza, until 1974. The fort is now open to tourists and offers stunning views of the Hunza Valley and the surrounding mountains.

It was the residence of the Hunza state's hereditary rulers, known as Mir. Around 1100 years ago, Altit Fort was the home of a medieval prince. Both the fort and the fortification are architectural and craft masterpieces. Agha Khan Culture Trust repaired the beautiful design, preserving it for future generations. Altit Fort is more than simply a location; it is a living legacy that is continuously evolving. 

3. Baltit Fort

The Baltit Fort is another must-see attraction in the valley. Over the years, however, there have been rebuilds and alterations. Baltit Castle, above Karimabad, is a Hunza monument, standing on huge legs and with wooden bay windows that gaze out over the valley. 

In Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan area, in the Hunza Valley, sits the mediaeval fort known as Baltit. The fort, which functioned as the seat of the mediaeval princely state of Hunza, is estimated to have been constructed in the 12th century. In 2008, the fort was included on the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The Baltit fort is located at the foot of the Baltit mountain, at an elevation of 2,438 meters (7,999 ft). The fort is approached by a long, winding path from the town of Baltit.

Originally, the Mirs of Hunza used it as a home. Because of a dispute between the ruler's two sons, the rulers were forced to relocate to Altit Fort.

4. Attabad Lake

The Hunza Valley's major attraction is Attabad Lake. Attabad Lake is one of the most beautiful spots in Hunza Valley. Within the massive mountains of Karakoram, the crystal blue water spellbinds everyone. Attabad Lake is located in Shiskat Valley, about 30 minutes from Karimabad. Most Luxurious and expensive hotels are located at Attabad Lake including Luxus Hunza.

5. Hussaini Bridge of Hunza

Hussani Bridge is 30 minutes away by car from Attaabad Lake. From one end of the bridge to the other, the Hussani Bridge has 400 steps.

6. Passu Cones Village

In Hunza Valley, Passu Cones is the most gorgeous and attractive tourist site. Passu is a pleasant Hunza town surrounded by gorgeous mountains and bisected by a river. The region is traversed by a glacier and its river. Passu is a fantastic location for walking, trekking, hiking, and photography.

7. Rush Lake

Rush Lake is located in the Nagar Valley (Near Hunza Valley) and is a high-altitude alpine lake with a surface elevation of 4,694 meters. The lake is surrounded by huge mountains and is considered Pakistan's highest lake. 

8. Eagle Nest Hunza

Duiker Eagle Nest is located in Hunza Valley at an elevation of about 10 thousand feet. The eagle nest is located 30 minutes drive from Karimabad Bazaar Hunza.

9. Khunjerab Pass

Khunjerab Pass is the highest paved international border crossing in the world and it connects Pakistan and China. The pass is located in the Karakoram mountain range and it is a popular tourist destination. The pass is also an important trade route between the two countries.

It takes 3 hours to drive from Karimabad to this Khunjerab pass. Khunjerab Pass, located on Pakistan's northern border with the Republic of China, is a high mountain pass at a height of around 15528 feet high. This Pass is also home to the world's highest ATM.

10. Rakaposhi View Point

First and foremost in the Hunza Valley is the view of Rakaposhi. Rakaposhi means Shining Wall. and it is surrounded by some famous glaciers. In addition, the Rakaposhi is part of the Karakoram Mountain Range. Rakaposhi is 7788 meters high. The view of Rakaposhi is just astonishing.
